Who will use the research? 

The Government, particularly the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, will use the data collected from this study and any recommendations or conclusions arising from it when making policy.

Privacy policy

If you have concerns about privacy or confidentiality in relation to this research project, here is what you should know:  

  • All information and survey responses are strictly confidential and the analysis and reporting of the results will not allow individuals to be identified.
  • No personally identifiable information will be made available.
  • No information you supply will be passed to anyone outside the project research team.
  • Your personal data and survey responses will be held by CRAC, which is based in the UK and registered under the UK Data Protection Act. In addition to UK laws, we are familiar with current practices in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and are adhering to their principles for the use and protection of personal information.
  • Regardless of the legal position, our commitment to you is that we will be transparent about the purpose for which we are requesting information from you.

CRAC conditions of use

CRAC: The Career Development Organisation ensures that all personal information is protected to the highest standards. We will never make your personal details available to companies outside CRAC for marketing or other purposes. It is theoretically possible that we may need to disclose your information if required to do so by law.

Personal information

Personal information is anything that enables us to identify you as an individual, for example, your name and e-mail address. When you supply information to us, we are legally obliged by the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that the information you have provided is only used for the purpose for which it was requested, and to ensure that the data is kept securely.

We do not capture any personal information without your knowledge.

What does providing my personal information mean?

When you provide us with your personal data, you are agreeing to consent to the collection and use of any information you provide in accordance with the above purposes and this privacy statement.
