Decisions at 18 is CRAC's flagship conference for those who advise and work with young adults, disseminating valuable information on the broad field of school and college leaver career options.
Young people who will be taking their next career step in 2010 face economic uncertainty and a tumultuous employment market. Yet new and emerging job roles as well as the economic imperative mean there remains a compelling need for them to develop high level skills - through higher education, employment or training. Decisions at 18 provided a forum for discussion and information exchange on how best to support young people to give them the best possible chance of success in a changing world.
The three day residential conference is unrivalled in its breadth of content, with over 60 topics covered across the workshop and seminar programme. Alongside the topical, practical and subject-focused one hour workshops the CRAC conference created a welcoming environment for exchanging good practice, and encouraged dialogue between careers practitioners, teachers, higher education admissions officers and employers.
