Biography

Peter joined UCAS in 2007 after two years delivering training in the Civil Contingencies Sector as an Emergency Planning Officer.

Peter has completed a Masters Degree at Aberystwyth University in ‘Intelligence & Military Strategy'. He also holds a Building Engineering degree.

Currently working within the Policy & Public Affairs department, as a Professional Development Officer, Peter has extensive experience of providing training and consultancy on key issues that impact on progression to higher education.

This has included professional development sessions for admissions and recruitment staff working in higher education institutions, those advising applicants through the admissions process, including teachers and careers advisers, and also sessions to parents and young people on the applications process.

Peter recently completed a secondment within UCAS working in a small project team alongside external consultants, to look at the processes involved in both the applicant and the institution journeys to suggest future direction at UCAS.
