Tim is Deputy Headteacher at JFS, a high performing specialist school in NW London, where he has taught English for over 30 years. The Sixth Form, of which he was Head for 13 years until 2007, is recognised by the Sutton Trust as one of the most successful non selective schools in the country in terms of entry to elite universities with almost 70% of Year 13 students progressing to Russell Group institutions. Tim oversees Higher Education links and Information, Advice and Guidance issues. Through the School's second specialism ( RAPP) he has led research into the impact of the A* grade and support for a range of school and local initiatives to widen participation and improve post 16 guidance.
