Biography

DANIEL BYE is a theatre director, playwright and academic based in Yorkshire. He trained at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre Studio, and received his BA, MA and PhD at the University of Leeds. He has worked for theatres and companies including the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Red Ladder, Box Clever and Creation Theatre. Universities he has taught at include Leeds, Hull and York.
