Anne Marie worked for many years in project and account management for the translation industry. She was involved in mentoring translation students in work experience over a number of years before joining CILT in 2007 to manage the Graduate Apprenticeship in translation and CILT's Vocational Qualification Reform projects.
Anne Marie developed a Qualification Strategy for languages and intercultural skills based on CILT's labour market intelligence and leads on the implementation of the Strategy for CILT. Anne Marie works with other sector bodies and awarding organisations to ensure that languages and intercultural skills are taken into account in skills planning for all sectors of UK business and employment. Anne Marie also leads for CILT in convening the Routes into Languages National Networks for Translation and Interpreting.
