Biography

Adam is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at Northumbria University and is year 1 director of studies on the full time MLaw Degree programme. Adam is a non-practicing Barrister and his teaching areas currently include criminal law, criminal procedure and criminal and civil evidence. Adam has published in the field of evidence and has given papers on clinical legal education and curriculum development. Adam was closely involved with the development and implementation of the innovative MLaw degree programme and is currently engaged in research on the use of clinical legal education to support student engagement. Adam has been involved with Aim Higher on a number of occasions including the development of a ‘Law Masterclass’ programme aimed at pre A-Level students.
