Connie Cullen is Director of Admissions and UK/EU Student Recruitment at the University of York. She has been involved in admissions, schools liaison and widening participation initiatives for nearly 20 years and has helped to established admissions processes for the York Law School and the Hull York Medical School. She is a member of the UCAS Board and Chair of the UCAS Change User Group, which aims to facilitate understanding between UCAS and HE providers about the impact of process changes. Connie has been involved with the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association (HELOA) since its foundation and particularly enjoys meeting applicants and their parents and advisers. She is an active governor of two schools - a large state school with A level provision that is also part of a consortium for Diploma development and a smaller independent school that offers the IB Diploma Programme.
