Kate Bellingham, the National Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Careers Coordinator and Paul Jackson, Chief Executive of EngineeringUK will provide a comprehensive and evidence based overview of the ever changing landscape of STEM opportunities. Including key evidence from EngineeringUK - the annual statistical guide on the state of engineering; and a summary of specific DCSF and BIS policy and action in this area.

Kate and Paul will also highlight recent joint working examples from The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists' and Engineers' Fair 2010 in Manchester www.thebigbangfair.co.uk and signposting to the range of support materials for careers IAG professionals that are available as a result of the now established and wide reaching DCSF STEM programme.
