What is it about?

Ever been faced with a sixth former or college student and wondered ‘Where do I start!?"

This session will give you the chance to discuss a range of client dilemmas that you might realistically come across, supported by 2 very experienced Careers Advisers and trainers.

Who is it for?

Careers Advisers, Connexions PAs (working in sixth forms) Sixth Form tutors, especially those who are new to this work and those who just wish to reflect on their practice

What will it involve?

This is a highly practical session with participants working on case studies in small groups. The case studies are based on real life sixth form and college clients with a range of HE and career dilemmas. The approach is ‘what advice would you give this client...' Stella and Brenda will offer insights based on their experiences and suggest sources of advice and information you can access.
