As employers increasingly recognise the value of staff who have the flexibility to work in international environments, it is important that young people understand the benefits of having a language among their portfolio of skills. Yet this is a complex area to get to grips with in terms of advising young people. What combinations of skills are most needed, with which languages and to what level? This interactive session will provide the latest information about the employment prospects for young people with language skills and showcase the new Languages Work website, recently re-launched to provide a national information resource for careers with languages.
