Careers advisers tell us there are too many organisations and websites offering information on STEM careers and they are increasingly looking to SSCs for quality LMI.

Cogent and other SSCs have a wealth of research data direct from employers showing the skills and qualifications they want and the likely growth areas over the next 10-20 years.

This session will cover:

• The skills needs of the existing science-based manufacturing industries and in emerging technologies.
• Vocational routes and the need for technicians.
• Demonstration of the joint SSC LMI information portal
• Demonstration of Cogent's Career Pathway service
