It's not all glamour and champagne. From directing to design, from stage technology to dramatherapy, drama is at the heart of a huge set of industries whose practitioners work incredibly hard, often for very little reward. Taking in theatre, TV, film, youth and community work, academia and plenty more, this workshop looks at the many career possibilities in the field. We'll talk about university and training options and how to get ahead. There is no "typical" career in drama, but we'll look at many of the variables.

The format of the workshop will be quite straightforward: we'll look at a couple of case studies and then take questions.
