Embedded IAG in adult learning07 November 2007

Event overview

The seminar explored the ways in which IAG is delivered in the learning and skills sector with a particular emphasis on how this is delivered for adults. It will draw on research undertaken over the last decade to identify changes in delivery – and in particular a study into embedded IAG undertaken for the LSC by NIACE. It will highlight issues emerging from these studies including for example the balance of IAG delivery across the learner pathway; availability of IAG to part-time learners and the ways in which staff delivering embedded IAG are supported.

The seminar was led by Jackie Sadler, NICEC Fellow and Helen Plant, Project Officer (Regions), NIACE.
