Enterprising Teacher

Enterprising Teacher is unique in supporting schools to deliver their enterprise requirements as it focuses on the attitudes and personal skills necessary for success in a world of enterprise, development and uncertainty.

Our programme is built around four key sessions:

  • a simulation highlighting problem-solving and displaying a 'can do' attitude
  • skills: influencing, giving feedback, enabling change management
  • business: developing partnerships with business
  • action planning: making it real and applying it practically, broadening enterprise across the whole curriculum.
Students on a CRAC course
The programme supplies teachers with:
  • learning which is fully transferable into the curriculum
  • practical material to use with other teachers and pupils
  • the ability to develop and write their own case studies
  • strategies to enable the cascading of knowledge across the school and dealing with scepticism.
The programme addresses Enterprise Learning as outlined in both A Review of Enterprise and the Economy in Education (Davies report 2002) and ‘Learning to be enterprising’ (Ofsted report, 2004).
