CRAC has worked on a number of projects on behalf of Research Councils UK:

- the Research Careers Mapping Tool, which intends to clarify career structures in research.
Others in the researcher development field with whom CRAC has worked include the QAA Funding Councils, Higher Education Academy, Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, Universities UK and the UK Council for Graduate Education.
