Seeking views from Arts and Humanities doctoral students

15/02/2022

The Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has commissioned The Careers Research Advisory Centre (CRAC) Ltd, who manage the Vitae programme, to review current doctoral provision in the arts and humanities, and identify options for how it should support doctoral provision in future.  As part of that research, this survey seeks views from current doctoral students in the arts and humanities about your experiences of doctoral research and your thoughts on how it will support your future career.

Your individual response will be confidential to the research team at CRAC and will not be shared with your institution or anybody else. All results used in the report/s we write will be anonymised so you will not be identifiable and you can answer with complete honesty.

All questions in the survey are voluntary unless marked with an asterisk indicating that an answer is required to lead you to a linked question or so that we can analyse responses for certain key groups. However, please answer as many questions as you can, as the findings will be more valuable if there are more responses.

By completing the survey, which should only take 10-15 minutes, you will help inform the AHRC’s future investment in doctoral education. There is also an opportunity to enter a prize draw for a £100 shopping voucher, as an incentive to participate.

View and complete survey. The deadline is 09:00 hrs, Thursday 10 March 2022

Your details will be stored in accordance with the privacy notice. Please read our Terms & Conditions for the prize draw. If you have any further questions or queries about completing this survey, please contact robin.mellors-bourne@crac.org.uk
