Five Point Manifesto

29/11/2019

CRAC welcomes the recently launched five-point manifesto for careers by Careers England, in association with the Careers Development Institute (CDI) and the International Centre for Guidance Studies (iCeGS). Clare Viney, CEO, CRAC/Vitae said:
“CRAC as a charity envisages a world where individuals have the ability to realise their potential and achieve their career goals, as they are equipped with the skills, support and information to do so, on a lifelong basis. We endorse the ‘Career development: Meeting the needs of individuals, society and the economy’ Statement and the supporting five career development policies for the next government. We believe that if the next government wishes the UK to remain competitive, it is essential that skills and talent are valued and developed right across the population – careers support of the type envisaged here is critical to that development.“

It is hoped that individuals and organisations will endorse, share and promote the mission statement and ideas of the manifesto with colleagues and stakeholders to raise awareness and achieve greater investment in the career development sector.
